It’s such a pleasure to “meet” you. I am a Daughter of God. I love the beautiful life that God has given me. My faith in Him gets me through each day! My website is a place to inspire and encourage you in this world we call “Life”.

​I started Daughter of God in November 2017. It has always been my dream of owning my own website and sharing my faith, God, and my poetry with the world. I am passionate about spreading the Word of God, giving you “Faith | Hope | Love” in your life, and helping you to thrive in your relationship with God! My hope by sharing my passion and heart, you will uncover your own inspiration!

When I decided on a name for my website, I didn’t know God was leaving me a hidden message in its name. “Daughter of God” initials are “D.O.G”. When God created all the animals on earth, one particular creation was different from all the others. Its name is a reflection of HIS own name, and we call him “DOG”.

​My favorite book in the Bible is “Psalms”. The Psalms does something no other book in the Bible does, it prays for us. It reminds us of who God is, who we are, and why we are going to make it through whatever we are dealing with in our lives. This is such a powerful book in the Bible!

My life motto is three powerful words “Faith | Hope | Love”. FAITH makes all things possible. HOPE makes all things brighter. LOVE connects us all together. It so just happens that these powerful words are an actual Bible verse “1 Corinthians 13:13”. Now, how cool is that! 

Before starting Daughter of God. I was a Computer Specialist / Website Designer for 8 years. Then, my life took a 360 turn on November 16, 2006. I was injured with an IV needle when I was in the hospital 18 years ago. It took 15 long months and 6 doctors for someone to tell me I had a very rare nerve disease called “CRPS” which stands for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome. It is a chronic neurological nerve pain disease that is characterized by severe, relentless pain. It is so unbelievable, just the simple action of inserting an IV needle caused all this pain. There is NO cure, but you can go into remission!

I became closer to God and prayed to him every day to heal me from this relentless pain. After living with severe pain for 10 long years, I woke up one morning with no pain at all. Miracles happen. I am proof God answers our prayers. God is Good! 

Everything happens for a reason and God is in complete control. God has taken me on an amazing journey so far. I truly could not live without God in my life. He continues to lead and guide me every single day. I get my Faith, Hope, and Courage from my Heavenly Father! 

​In my free time, I love writing poetry, drawing, and photography! I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs. I am a mom to a beautiful Miniature Poodle (Reba) and an adventurous Jack Russell Terrier (Lacie). Meet my girls here! 

Interesting facts about ME are I was born in the same city / same year Walt Disney World opened the park, country music legend singer Reba McEntire is my cousin, and I am a University of Florida Donor and Florida Gators fan. Go Gators!
